About the role 

We are looking for an Electrical Lead to join the team at our Ashburton plant. This is a Full-time role, working Monday to Friday (Day shift - 6:00am to 4:00pm), 50 hours per week. You will be responsible for allocating the planned maintenance workload by balancing the available work hours against the agreed priorities and the individual capacities and experience of the team.  You will also be following up on assigned work daily and ensuring it is executed safely and to the right standards, considering reliability, quality, food safety, productivity and cost.  You must also ensure accurate feedback is provided on all completed tasks and to identify any follow-up actions required, with an emphasis on improving plant reliability. Remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience. 

 

As an Electrical Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Approve and convert all requests into work orders for the Maintenance Planner.  
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads with related software.  
  • Raise safety permits and conduct safety inspections as scheduled.  
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities.  
  • Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time. 

 

For this role, you’ll need:

  • EWRB registered and have a current practising licence. 
  • 4 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (2 years essential).   
  • Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance practices.   
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.   
  • CMMS experience (highly advantageous)
