About the role
We are looking for a Forklift Mechanic to join our Team at our Ashburton Vegetable plant. This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working a 10-hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 17:00) from Monday to Friday. Remuneration will be based on your experience and qualifications.
As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving instructions from the Maintenance Planner / Engineering Manager / Head Boilerman or others as the needs of the business requires.
- Being a point of contact on all day-to-day forklift and freezer shuttle issues.
- Ensuring company documented procedures and business rules are conformed to.
- Taking ownership of quality system, food safety and HACCP program.
For this role, you will need:
- A New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering Level 4 or Equivalent.
