We have a great opportunity for a motivated Logistics Co-Ordinator to join our team at our Ashburton site. Reporting to the GM Supply Chain, you will be primarily responsible for booking export shipments, but will also manage some customer orders, book and manage domestic freight for orders from time to time, assist with imported shipments for projects or ingredients, and track and publish key KPIs relating to logistics. 

The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end supply chain for Season’s Best production out of Ashburton ensuring delivery of the right product, to the right customer, on time and using the best solution.

Your responsibilities: 

• Supporting the sales team and freight managers with orders, pro-forma and freight invoices, shipments, and payments
• Booking export container shipments with shipping lines and logistics providers  whilst considering customer delivery requirements, inventory availability and best cost solutions..
• Entering and managing logistics data for the rest of the supply chain team to work off.
• Ensuring the accuracy of information for the production of export documentation.
• Monitoring and influencing site container loading plans to ensure they are smooth and attainable to meet required deadlines.
• Communicating requirements to transport providers to ensure the required transport solution meets site loading plans and due dates at Port.
• Updating customers and sales team on consignments/orders.
• Effectively communicating with the factory and cool store regarding orders.
• Continuously looking for opportunities to deliver a standardised process across the network and improve the execution of the supply chain. This includes process, people, and system opportunities.

• Exceptional organisational and communication skills to effectively manage workload and prioritise.
• To be process orientated and a logical thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Strong focus on customer service and managing multiple internal & external stakeholders.
• To be keen to learn, adjust and grow with the requirements of our business.
• Prior experience in a logistics environment would be advantageous.
