About the role

We are looking for proactive leaders who can work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities. As the leader of the Fry Packout team, you will provide direct line supervision to a team of approximately 11 pack out operators in a rotating shift pattern of 4 on and 4 off. Your primary focus is to ensure the pack out team delivers high‑quality packing while meeting production targets and maintaining strict compliance with food safety and health and safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily packout operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and output targets are met, while actively monitoring line performance, waste, and downtime.
• Allocate staff and manage shift coverage, conduct regular performance reviews, and ensure all staff are trained, competent, and signed off against SOPs and training records.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality assurance requirements for all packout operations. 
• Identify and resolve production issues during packout operations, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide operational support during peak periods while retaining overall supervisory accountability.
• Maintain accurate shift reports, including downtime, productivity, and attendance records.

  
  

For this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG production environment, including supervisory or team‑leading responsibilities.
• Strong people management skills with a proven ability to lead and coach a production team.
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, and Teams).
