About the role
We are looking for professional Class 4 and Class 5 drivers to join our seasonal pea and corn harvest crews in Ashburton. The season runs from early November 2026 to around late April 2027.
You will be operating modern, well-maintained bathtub trucks transporting fresh vegetables between paddocks around Mid-Canterbury and our factory. We have both Day and Night shifts available on a 4-on/2-off roster running 24/7 including weekends and public holidays. There is an added bonus/night shift allowance for those working nights.
What you will need
- Licenses and driving skills: A full Class 4 or Class 5 license, Road Ranger gearbox experience, and trailer reversing skills for the Class 5 roles.
- Experience: Tipping experience in confined spaces is preferred, although training can be provided.
- Personal qualities: Punctual, dependable, tidy, responsible, and able to work well in a small team.
- Seasonal work readiness: A strong work ethic and an understanding of the demands and changes that come with seasonal work.
